Did you know...

January 27th is the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp.

On November 1, 2005, it was designated by United Nations General Assembly resolution 60/7 as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. On this annual day of commemoration, nations and individuals are encouraged to honor the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and the millions of other victims of Nazism.
